Information We Collect
LumiAI does not collect or store any personal information directly. However, the app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, for purposes of advertising, analytics, and crash reporting.
Third-party services used by the app:
Advertising
LumiAI displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device’s advertising ID to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings under Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Log Data
In the event of an error, the app may collect data via Firebase Crashlytics, including: device model, operating system version, app configuration at the time of the error, and timestamp. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs.
Permissions
LumiAI requests the following permissions:
- CAMERA — Required to control the device flashlight via the camera hardware.
- RECORD_AUDIO — Used only by Music and Voice modes to detect sound or beats via the microphone. Audio is processed locally on the device and never recorded or transmitted.
- ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION — Used by Walk mode to detect steps via the step detector sensor.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Required on Android 13+ to send flash alert notifications when calls or messages arrive.
No permission is used to collect or transmit personal data.
Cookies
LumiAI itself does not use cookies. Third-party SDKs (AdMob, Firebase) may use local storage or similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising.
Children’s Privacy
LumiAI does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
